Winning the first two games by just a goal and tying the third, the team put together a 3 – 0 win against host team, Gulf Coast Flames, in the final game of round robin play, seeding them 1st in the Championship against the Tampa Raiders. The grit and determination of the forward lines and tenacious defense, lead the team to their 2 – 0 victory to claim the title.
