Thank you for your participation in the spring 2010 skates and
tryouts. The response was excellent, showing a need for a dynamic 18
U program. Since we had numerous players unable to attend due to
planned vacations, and subsequent inquiries from players that were
unaware of last week’s tryouts, we have decided not to name a core
team at this time. We will resume tryouts in August. We believe this
is the fairest way to approach the selection of our teams.
Our plans are to have two teams, one an Independent AA team that will
include more travel, and an A team that will play in the single A
STYHL schedule. This additional time will allow us to talk with each
player, and make sure he can commit to the AA schedule,
as well as further assess skill levels to make sure we assemble the
best 18 U team in the Atlanta area.
If you have already paid a tryout fee you will not be required to pay
in August. We will also be holding a couple of skates throughout the
summer
